 | A quality of mature spirituality is kindness. Kindness is a tool that everyone possesses and everyone chooses to use differently. As a gardener, sows mustard seeds, kindness flourishes into many lush greens. Kindness, no matter how small, is never wasted. As a baker, uses sugar, kindness makes life a little sweeter. Kindness may give someone a lift or pull from the edge. As the sun melts ice, kindness evaporates misunderstandings, mistrust, and hostility. Kindness is grace in unseen battles. Kindness may be a smile, a kind look or gesture, a friendly handshake, warm words ,or a caring act. Let us remember to keep kindness in our hearts always so that whenever there is a need, however we can, wherever we are, make ourselves a blessing to someone. The Fruits of Worry
Worry causes additional stress and can be fatal. It is and always will be a fatal disease of the heart. When we worry that is a sign that faith in waning and possibly could soon be gone.
Worry intrudes on God’s compassionate ability to provide for us.
Knowing God - Life's Major Pursuit
Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength
Or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this;
That he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice
And righteousness on earth, for in these I delight, “declares the Lord.”
