Sis Evans directs the Sanctuary Choir, The Men’s Chorus, the Youth and Young Adult Choirs. Sis Evans has been the music director at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Choir for twenty years.  In addition to the God given gift of directing music, she has an anointed voice. She shares her talent in the BMU annual Citywide Revival but made her mark in the music industry when she sang with the infamous Walker Ford Chorale.

Sis Patricia Moore came to Rising Star about four years ago. She was adamant about her tour at Rising Star and emphasized that it was only temporary. However, the Lord had other plans for Sis Moore and united in membership with Rising Star shortly after that. She remains dedicated to her position as musician and integral part of the body of the church.

Bro. Brian Toler has recently returned to Rising Star as the Base Guitarist. He is a welcome addition to the music department.
